Host the Galaxy Community Conference

Propose your organization to host an upcoming GCC. Tell us about your venue, city, and team, add photos and floor plans, and we'll take it from there.

What hosting a GCC involves

A week with the global Galaxy community -- and what strong bids tend to include.

Hosting GCC brings the global Galaxy community to your city for a week -- training days, the CoFest / hackathon, and the main conference, plus community sessions, posters and demos, and birds-of-a-feather gatherings. Recent conferences have drawn 140-230 people from around the world, and it's a real chance to put your institution and community on the map.

Strong bids usually include committed local organizers, affordable lodging, reliable WiFi, accessible meeting spaces, and good transportation connections. You don't need every detail nailed down yet -- tell us what you know and we'll take it from there.
